About This Program
A 10-day fly-in safari adventure through Africa's last true wildernesses — from the hauntingly desolate Skeleton Coast to the remote Kunene River and the wildlife-rich Linyanti floodplains of Botswana.
This extraordinary 10-day fly-in safari traces a path through Africa's most remote and pristine wildernesses — landscapes so vast and untouched that they feel like the edge of the world. Begin on Namibia's legendary Skeleton Coast, where the cold Atlantic meets towering sand dunes and the bleached bones of shipwrecks dot the shoreline. Track desert-adapted elephants through ancient riverbeds and soar over seal colonies and shipwrecks by light aircraft. Journey north to the Kunene River — the border with Angola — where the semi-nomadic Himba people maintain traditions unchanged for centuries. At Wilderness Serra Cafema, one of Africa's most remote camps, drift along the river by boat as the sun sets over the Angolan mountains. Cross into Botswana's Linyanti Wildlife Reserve for three days of extraordinary game viewing — mega-herds of elephants, packs of endangered African wild dogs, leopards in ancient trees, and lions on the floodplain. Each camp combines raw wilderness with refined luxury — canvas suites with plunge pools, gourmet bush dining under the Milky Way, and expert guides who reveal the hidden stories of the African bush.
