About This Program
An extraordinary journey from the ancient Kalahari desert to Cape Town's Atlantic shores and the sun-drenched Winelands — Africa's most complete luxury safari and culture experience.
This meticulously crafted South African journey moves through three of the continent's most extraordinary landscapes. You begin in the Kalahari — the world's largest private game reserve — tracking black-maned lions, cheetah, pangolin, and wild dogs with a dedicated private guide and vehicle. Nights are spent at Tswalu, where a Michelin-starred chef designs each meal and a Malori sleep-out deck places you under an infinite canopy of stars. From the Kalahari you fly to Cape Town, one of the world's most beautiful cities, where Table Mountain rises above the Atlantic and the V&A Waterfront hums with energy. A private guide unlocks the Cape Peninsula, the Boulders penguin colony, and the city's extraordinary contemporary art scene. Evenings are reserved for Cape Town's world-class restaurant scene — FYN, La Colombe, and The Test Kitchen among them. The journey concludes in the Winelands, where the Drakenstein Valley frames a landscape of vine-covered mountains, Cape Dutch farmhouses, and some of Africa's finest tables. At Babylonstoren, a historic working wine farm, you wander orchards and vineyards before farm-to-table dinners at Babel restaurant. The Franschhoek valley offers La Petite Colombe, JAN at La Motte, and the legendary Tasting Room — a fitting finale to one of Africa's great journeys.
